Ironwood Films is a Lakota operated, Inter-tribal film company currently producing investigative, experimental, documentary-style motion pictures that are provocative and proactive; Ironwood Films promotes Tribal and cultural issues by examining contemporary Native-American topics in the context of today’s society.

Ironwood Films are made from an Indigenous point of view and are aimed to incite positive social change through the assimilation & re-education of the American public. 

Ironwood Films takes its name from Ironwood, South Dakota, on the Rosebud reservation.  Near the Grass Mountains and Little White River, Ironwood’s rich family history and distinct landscape influenced the creation and direction of Ironwood Films.
